ENGL 2013 - Introduction to Linguistics Credit Hours: 2 Students gain an understanding of the basic concepts in linguistics, particularly semantics, phonetics, socio-linguistics and the recent theories of language. Students learn to apply their theoretical knowledge to the study and discussion of grammar and communication in general.
Prerequisite(s): A Grade of “C” or Above in ENGL 1102
