HORT 3853 - Vegetable Crops Credit Hours: 3 Students acquire knowledge of the environmental and botanical factors affecting the adaptation of vegetable crops. Students also gain practical experiences in state-of-the-art procedures for producing quality vegetables, such as soil preparation, planting, fertilization, weed control, irrigation, harvesting, grading and packaging.
