ELET 4500 - Computer Systems Credit Hours: 3 This course focuses on conceptual design of a computer system as well as hardware systems and software interface. Students will be introduced to the conceptual design of a basic computer system, along with assembly and C programming. Fundamental concepts such as binary numbers, binary arithmetic, and representing information as well as instructions covered in the context. Students learn to understand C language and assembly codes. The course also covers some of the more advanced topics, such as pipelining,cache memory, virtual memory,linking, exceptional control flow
