COMM 3303 - Digital Communication


Credit Hours: 3
In this course, students examine emerging communication technologies and their impact on communication at the interpersonal, group, organizational, public and mass engagements. The course will also detail the evolving relationship between institutions, users, and the content. Through a series of hands-on projects students will learn to research and analyze contemporary issues and trends in the field of communications, with an emphasis on digital communication technologies. This course will focus on fundamentals of digital communications, social media communications, digital communication platforms and audience/users, and user generated content (UGC) on digital communication platforms.
