COUN 5830 - Clinical Supervision and Consultation in Counseling

Credit Hours: 3
This course will focus on developing a quality supervisory working alliance, conceptualization skills, evaluation, teaching and consultation skills, and developing skills in both group and individual supervision modalities. It will address the theoretical basis of supervision, as well as techniques. The course also provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage in consultation, negotiation/mediation, and systems level intervention in mental health and education settings.
