ANSC 6253 - Molecular Endocrinology Credit Hours: 3 Students will acquire an in-depth understanding of the molecular basis of hormone action and molecular and cell biology of endocrine systems. Other areas include detailed investigation of hormone and receptor synthesis, second messenger models, hormonal control of gene expression, and molecular mechanisms of growth and reproduction. Students will make critical reviews of the literature and will gain thorough knowledge of newly-emerging techniques in endocrinology.
