MAED 6020 - Probability and Statistics Credit Hours: 3 Students will use basic concepts of probability and statistics with applications. Topics include: probability models; random variables; discrete and continuous probability distributions; statistical estimation and testing; confidence intervals; and an introduction to measures of central tendency and variability. Students will organize and analyze statistical data using statistical packages or other data analytic software.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 6010 or an equivalent
