The Department of Engineering Technology consists of the Agricultural and Electronic Engineering Technology Programs. Students may obtain Bachelor of Science degrees in Agricultural Engineering Technology and Electronic Engineering Technology through the department. Our departmental mission is to advance the mission of the University while promoting scholarship and engaging our students and stakeholders.
Curricular areas within the department incorporate the STEAM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture and Mathematics) and other applied sciences. Students who pursue these areas of study become prepared for entry into graduate schools, employment as teachers, managers, researchers, scientist and technicians for both industry and some governmental agencies. Courses offered within the department are designated AENT and ELET.
