                  CHEM 2221K - Principles of Organic Chemistry I Credit Hours: 4 Students expand their knowledge of classes of organic functional groups in conjunction with their reactions and their reaction mechanisms. Students investigate the fundamentals of mass spectrometry, 1H-BNR, 13C-NWR, IR and UV- Visible spectroscopy. Students survey operations and techniques used in organic chemistry laboratories. Laboratory exercises supplement the lecture material.
