MATH 4243 - Linear Algebra II Credit Hours: 3 Students develop an understanding of vector spaces, linear operators and linear systems. Emphasis is placed on finite-dimensional vector spaces, linear transformations and matrix algebra. Topics include determinants, Gauss method, Gauss-Jordan method, Cramer’s rule, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, diagonalization of matrices and application of linear methods to solve non-linear problems.
