ENGL 4123 - Milton Credit Hours: 3 Students study John Milton’s prose and poetry, focusing on the major poems: Paradise Lost, Paradise Regained and Samson Agonistes. They delineate the place of his work in the late English Renaissance with reference to the conventions of the Classical Era and to historical and cultural developments in the 17th Century.
