Computer Science, B.S.

The Department offers one program of study leading to the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Computer Science (CSCI) The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science curriculum involves the study of the logical organization, design, and functions of computers with emphasis on scientific and technical applications. The program provides majors with a firm foundation for graduate study, as well as the necessary skills for viable, entry-level employment upon graduation. Course offerings are designated CSCI.

CSCI majors must receive a grade of “C” or better in all courses designated with the prefix CSCI and supportive courses for the major. Mathematics courses are supporting courses for CSCI majors. Business courses are supporting courses for CSIS majors. All majors must take and pass a departmental exit exam with a score of 70% or better for partial completion of degree requirements.
