ARTH 3120 - African American Art History

Credit Hours: 3
Students learn the history of African-American artists from slavery to the present. Students learn about historical periods, such as ante-bellum,reconstruction, and Harlem Renaissance. Students learn about the impact of African art on African-AMerican art. Students also learn about the influence of Western art on African-American artists as well asthe contributions of African-American art to Western culture.
