GEOL 4202 - Applications of Computing Methods in Science and Research


Credit Hours: 2
Students demonstrate an understanding of how to use modern computing methods applicable to performing research to solve real-world scientific problems by the conclusion of this course. Topics include subsurface imaging, the use of geochemical modeling tools, and the use of generic mapping
tools (GMT).
