Other mathematics electives recommended by the advisor and approved by the department chair are also acceptable. One mathematics elective may be taken from 3000/4000 level STAT courses.

**Courses taken by students to satisfy Lab Science requirements in area D of the core will not be counted for credit in area G.

***Freshman and sophomore level mathematics courses will not count as electives. At least three credit hours are required from course(s) at the 3000 level or higher

 

Transfer students must earn at least 30 hours with an average grade of “C” (2.00) or better in courses designated as junior and senior courses, including at least 20 hours in the area of major concentration.

 

A Grade of C or better required for all courses in area G. A baccalaureate degree program must require at least 21 semester hours of upper division courses in the major field and at least 39 semester hours of upper division work overall.
