2 Mathematics majors will choose one two-course sequence from the area of Biology, Geology, Chemistry, Electronic Engineering Technology, Engineering, Computer Science. Freshman and sophomore level mathematics courses will not count as electives.

Area B: Institutional Options: 3 Credit Hours


Area C: Humanities/Fine Arts: 6 Credit Hours

* Mathematics electives will be taken from the following: MATH 3373  (Probability), MATH 3180 (Vector Calculus), MATH 3113 (Applied Regression Analysis), MATH 4293  (PDE), and MATH 4363  (Numerical Methods).

**Courses taken by students to satisfy Area D of the core will not be counted for credit in Area G. Freshman and sophomore level mathematics courses will not count as electives.
