BIOT 6253 - Molecular Endocrinology Credit Hours: 3 Students will acquire an in depth knowledge of the molecular basis for hormone action as well as molecular and cell biology on endocrine systems. Other discussions included will be the detailed studies of hormone and receptor synthesis, second messenger models, hormonal control of gene expression, and molecular mechanisms of growth and reproduction. Students will make critical review of literature and will gain thorough knowledge of the emerging endocrinology techniques.
